Applications
For use as pilot line for cables and ropes in rescue operations at sea. Use between ships, from shore to ship or ship to shore, or for rescuing personnel.
Design and function
A robust construction consisting of a waterproof plastic container, incorporating an integral handle and trigger mechanism, with a solid fuel rocket and 300m of line.

The IKAROS-LINE is approved globally and meets the latest SOLAS 74/96 regulations.

Instructions
- The line is secured to the inside of the container by a quick release knot. A buoyant head is also available for attachment to the front end of the rocket. As the rocket has integral ignition, only one item needs replacing after the statutory expiry date.
