Jeremy Dale OBE Recognised for a Lifetime of Advancing Maritime Safety
SeaSafe is delighted to announce that, Jeremy Dale OBE, has been presented with the prestigious Outstanding Contribution Award, sponsored by Maritime Journal, at the Seawork 2026 Awards.
The award recognises Jeremy’s exceptional contribution to the maritime industry over more than three decades. Throughout his career, he has been at the forefront of maritime safety innovation, combining technical expertise, visionary leadership and an unwavering commitment to protecting lives at sea.
Jeremy’s pioneering work has transformed life-saving equipment used by commercial, military and leisure mariners across the globe. His practical innovations have significantly improved safety and survival outcomes, while his influence has helped shape industry standards and best practice throughout the maritime sector.
A respected inventor and industry leader, Jeremy was awarded an OBE for Services to Maritime Safety in recognition of his outstanding achievements. His dedication to advancing safety at sea continues to inspire the maritime community and drive innovation across the industry.
The award was presented by Andrew Webster, CEO of Maritime Journal, during this year’s Seawork Exhibition.
