Introducing Project Secret Santa, founded by Georgina
At SeaSafe, our focus isn’t always on water-related products. Sometimes, we step outside our usual scope—and this December is one of those times.
Thanks to a connection through Jill, one of SeaSafe’s co-owners, we were presented with a heart warming opportunity we simply couldn’t pass up.
Introducing Project Secret Santa, founded by Georgina, this initiative is aimed at helping vulnerable children across Hampshire. The mission? To create as many festive stockings as possible, filled with age-appropriate gifts for children aged 3 to 18, including young care leavers aged 16 to 18 spending their first Christmas alone.
Georgina shared, “We understand Christmas can be a difficult time for some families, and we want to spread a little joy and comfort to those who need it most. Any donations that don’t fit in our stockings will be given to children in women’s refuge centres fleeing domestic violence. We’re aiming to reach between 300 and 500 stockings.”
Inspired by the cause, the SeaSafe team were keen to help. Georgina supplied the fabric and ribbons which enabled the SeaSafe team to burst into action creating nearly 200 festive bags. We hope these bring smiles and warmth to the recipients.
